I have been a foundry-based artist for many years and have worked with sand casting aluminum sculptures.

My recent turn to clay hand building incorporates similar concepts as my sand cast sculptures, including an emphasis on organic forms, textures and patterns.

Building with clay segments allows the sculptural form to evolve as it is constructed.

The variety of glazes, rubbed and layered onto clay add intriguing interest to the surface of the vessels created.
